LINKED OPEN DATA FÜR WISSENSCHAFT UND BÜRGER – ENGAGE

The ENGAGE project will develop a service infrastructure based on linked open data in order to connect disparate, decentralized (public authority managed) resources. Complementing the establishment of a network, the ENGAGE-infrastructure supports semantic upgrading and the visualization of Open Data. Its special focus lies in the provision of metadata to support scientists across the board to facilitate the organized processing and analysis of the information available. In this manner, multidisciplinary research communities would be able to seamlessly access data. Additionally, this project will support the establishment of a network to freely offer data (information) to citizens.
